










As the first cut parts came off the new (£500,000 plus) laser cutting facility for Grorud Engineering, Co Durham (a long standing Customer) the staff at Laser Cutting celebrated the occasion over a glass of champagne with a small team of suppliers, customers and financial supporters.
Neil Cosford for Cromar part of the Hunting PLC who specialise in Oil Exploration came down especially from Aberdeen to be at the opening event. Neil, who has been a customer of Laser Cutting for many years, said “It is just amazing to see the progress made at Laser Cutting – I have been coming here for over 15 years and the speed of change and improvement I have seen in the last 2 years has been nothing short of phenomenal”.
Further investments at Laser Cutting include for the first time a Press Brake Facility and in house welding to allow Customers to be able to look at the Company as more of a one stop shop for completed components.
